Workshop: Citizen engagement in decision making processes
The workshop will bring together public officials of Ministries and representatives of CSOs, partners of the Moldovan Central Public Authorities for developing capability to engage and be engaged in open decision-making process.
The objective of the workshop are:
- To introduce the concept of open decision making;
- To present the concept of the Guidebook on Citizen engagement in decision making and get feedback and recommendations from both public servants and representatives of CSOs;
- To get practical knowledge how to manage different stages of complex decision making processes (based on Estonian experiences and practices)
The workshop is based on real situations which may occur in decision-making processes, using interactive methods and formats.
The workshop will be conducted by both Estonian and Moldovan experts:

Workshop that will be held on 7-8 April 2015 in the Hotel Regency, Chisnau. The workshop is organized by Estonian e-Governance Academy in close cooperation with Open Government Institute Moldova and Moldova e-Government Center.
The training is one of the activities of project „The implementation of principles of Open Government in engaging citizens in decision-making process in Moldova“, financed by Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in framework of Estonian Development Cooperation.
