Jenik Radon joined the e-Governance Academy’s Supervisory Board
Jenik Radon, an international development expert renowned for his work in sustainable resource management, human rights, and governance reform, joined the e-Governance Academy’s (eGA) Supervisory Board in July 2025.
Mr Radon, a graduate of Stanford Law School, serves as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where he teaches courses on sustainable natural resource development, small state development, and corporate responsibility. He is also the founder of Radon Law Offices, advising international companies and foreign authorities, particularly in the extractive industries.
He has a long-standing connection with Estonia, advising the country during its independence movement and co-authoring key economic laws, including those on foreign investment and privatisation. Beyond Estonia, Mr Radon has worked or lectured in over 70 countries, advising governments and civil society organisations.
“We are delighted to welcome Jenik Radon to the Supervisory Board. His experience in driving socio-economic change is invaluable, and we look forward to his guidance in shaping eGA’s future initiatives,” said Hannes Astok, Member of the Management Board.
“I am honoured to join eGA and to support its mission of building digital societies that make people’s lives better. Wherever I go, people want to learn from Estonia’s digital success. Now I will be able to share my experience and connections to help eGA tell that story globally,” said Jenik Radon.
Since July 2025, eGA’s Supervisory Board has consisted of five members. Anna Greta Tsahkna, Vice-President of the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications, serves as Chair. Other members include Toomas H. Ilves, former President of Estonia; Ines Mergel, Full Professor at the University of Konstanz; and Märt Kivine, Senior Programme Officer at the World Bank’s Development Policy Department.
The e-Governance Academy is a centre of excellence headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, dedicated to increasing the prosperity and openness of societies worldwide through digital transformation. In just 20 plus years, since 2002, eGA experts have collaborated with over 300 organisations in 145 countries, helping build successful digital societies that improve citizens’ lives, strengthen economies, and deliver transparent, democratic, and effective public administrations.
