Ivan Romanenko
Ivan Romanenko works as an Expert at the e-Governance Academy. He is currently involved in the development, modernisation, and support of digital solutions for administrative services, with a particular focus on the Vulyk information system used by Administrative Service Centres (CNAPs) across Ukraine.
Ivan has more than 11 years of experience in public service, including extensive work at the central government level. Since 2021, he has served as the Director of the Department of Information Technologies and Security at the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, where he was responsible for IT governance, information security, digital infrastructure, and the coordination of cross-government digital initiatives. Throughout his career, he has held senior IT and management positions within the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Regional Development, contributing to the development of e-government, interagency electronic interaction, and secure government IT systems.
Ivan has significant expertise in digital transformation, IT architecture, cybersecurity, and the operation of national information systems and registers, as well as in coordinating complex projects involving multiple public authorities and stakeholders. His professional background combines hands-on technical experience with strategic management in public administration.
Ivan holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine and has academic qualifications in computer engineering, computer systems and networks, and related technical fields. His interdisciplinary background enables him to effectively bridge public policy, digital technologies, and secure service delivery.
