Kosovo e-Government Strategy

The creation of an e-state begins with mapping the current situation and developing a strategy based on it. eGA experts consulted the government of Kosovo, which was developing a strategic framework for public administration, and the e-government strategy was a key component in this framework. The strategy was based on the baseline assessment of the current key e-government systems, which created a qualitative and quantitative basis for discussing the necessary forward-thinking policies. It also considered the latest trends and experiences of the countries that had successfully implemented e-government. The outcome has strategic importance for Kosovo’s ICT future, as the decisions made in this process would have a long-lasting influence over the coming decades.
