25.05.2018

In cooperation with IDEMIA France S.A.S., the e-Governance Academy has published the e-governance handbook, “Э-Эстония. Э-управление на практике,” in Russian. This is an updated edition of the e-governance handbook entitled “e-Estonia. e-Governance in Practice,” which was published in 2017.

The book describes fundamental aspects of Estonia’s digital society and explains how state-level technologies, legislation, citizen and private-sector systems support electronic governance. The publication was put together by e-Governance Academy Foundation experts in partnership with cyber security and digital identity experts and practitioners of Estonia.

Arvo Ott, Executive Director of the e-Governance Academy, states that “e-Governance in Practice” offers useful material for all global government leaders who would like to benefit from the implementation of information technology in their state. “We did it in Estonia, and you can do so too, with the assistance of this book,” said Arvo Ott.

According to the Senior Vice President for Civil Identity in Europe of IDEMIA, Isabelle Lauzon, IDEMIA—a global leader in augmented identity—is delighted to be able to contribute to the development and awareness of e-governance worldwide. “Now, Russian-speaking e-governance enthusiasts will also get a practical guide to empowering digital transformation in their countries, “ said Isabelle Lauzon.
