Delegation from Faroe Islands studies Estonian e-governance

A delegation form Faroe Islands takes part in a two-day study visit to learn about Estonian e-government services, Estonian experience of ICT coordination in the public sector as well as developing a legal framework for information society and information rights.
Johan Dahl, Minister of Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Faroe Islands said that the most exciting part is the integration of the e-governance systems. “It is quite impressive what Estonia has done so far. We are very keen to digitalize our society and therefore we are very interested in the Estonian experience how to integrate all e-services and make communicating easier and cheaper for citizens as well as for the state,” said Johan Dahl.
The delegation includes Johan Dahl, Minister of Ministry of Trade and Industry, and Jørgen Niclasen, Minister of Ministry of Finance together with high-level officers from both ministries.
