The Minister of Digital Development and Communications of Mongolia, Mr. Uchral Nyam-Osor, visited the e-Governance Academy (eGA) with his delegation to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), underscoring their commitment to advancing e-governance, with a strong focus on digital identity, e-business, and e-residency.

The MOU outlines critical areas of collaboration, including promoting institutional cooperation to enhance e-Governance capacity building and cyber security, sharing best practices in innovative e-Governance solutions, and organizing joint workshops and seminars.

“The signing of the MOU signifies a dedication to deepening cooperation in the field of e-Governance, showcasing Mongolia’s commitment to leveraging digital technologies for governance enhancement and improved public services, aligning seamlessly with eGA’s expertise,” said Hannes Astok, eGA’s chairman.

This partnership builds upon eGA’s previous experience, including its visits and advising the Government of Mongolia from March to July 2023. During this period, eGA experts collaborated closely with Mongolian authorities to develop and implement an electronic identity solution characterized by high standards of rollout and security.
