eGA experts visit Nagaland
Four eGA experts: Arvo Ott, Liia Hänni, Mari Pedak and Annela Kiirats are visiting Nagaland this week as continuation to visit of Mr. K.D.Vizo, Commissioner & Secretary(IT), Government of Nagaland to Estonia last year.
During their stay they had high level meeting with Commissioner, Secretary (Planning) & Coordination Shri M. Patton, also with Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner R.Binchilo Thong and other important decision-makers. They also had possibility to witness launching of the new e-solution (e-District) in the state, being first audience to see the system function.
Today they present Estonian ICT solution to the 80 people audience of IT technicians and tomorrow meeting with the government members of Nagaland.
Nagaland is a state in Northeast of India and is divided into 11 districts with its 2 million people. Nagaland hold high position in India on developing the ICT in state. There are several ideas got from Estonian training they would like to implement and therefore eGA representatives are now there to learn more about the current situation and suggest the ways to implement ICT.
