eGA welcomes guests from Mongolia

Delegation of 4 officials from Mongolia were on a 3-day study-visit to Estonia this week (March 4 – 6, 2014), to learn from our e-governance solutions and best practices.

Currently there are several ongoing e-governance solution projects in Mongolia and a necessity to adopt relevant laws that would support digital service provision. Therefore experiences of different countries are being studied to decide which country’s example to follow would suit the best.

Among other topics interoperability framework for public sector, Estonian ID-card usage possibilities and principles, change management as well as topics concerning e-Government in justice were discussed. In addition to visiting the E-Governance Academy the delegation also visited the Estonian Parliament, the Government Office and the Police and Border Guard Board.
