Linnar Viik to join the Supervisory Board of EIT Digital
e-Governance Academy’s Programme director Linnar Viik has been elected to the Supervisory Board of EIT Digital in February to contribute to the digital transformation in European public sector.
EIT Digital is a leading European open innovation organisation that brings together a partnership of over 130 top European corporations, SMEs, start-ups, universities and research institutes. EIT Digital invests in strategic areas to accelerate market uptake of research-based digital technologies and to bring entrepreneurial talent and leadership to Europe.
According to Linnar Viik it is an honor to be part of the EIT Digital Board and contribute to the public-private sector cooperation to accelerate the use of IT advantages for the public sector in Europe. “Creating strong digital governance is timelier than ever. The cooperation with the private sector could be the key of governments’ digital transformation, ” said Linnar Viik.
