This week eGA welcomes guests from Kyrgyzstan
A delegation of high officials from Kyrgyzstan visited Estonia this week. They were introduced to Estonian e-government solutions, to apply the knowledge and experience when developing e-government in Kyrgyzstan.
The guests were most interested in population data management, digital data registers and the digital signature framework as well as the e-services connected to them in order to develop a digital population registry in Kyrgyzstan to start offering citizens e-services as well.
During the 5-day study-visit from May 12th through 16th the delegation visited ICT Demo Centre, State Information System’s Authority, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, State Chancellery (the Government Office), AS Andmevara as well as Centre for Registers and Information systems.
The visit was made possible through an Estonian development cooperation project, financed by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and coordinated by the e-Governance Academy.
