Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova

Today eGA hosted a high level guest from Moldova – Mr. Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Eurointegration. Moldova and especially the Moldovan e-Governance Centre is eGA’s long-term cooperation partner in implementing e-governance projects. So far eGA has implemented eight projects in Moldova and made eight study trainings for Moldovan officials and representatives of NGOs with the total budget of € 1.3 m.

At the meeting with Minister Galbur, Arvo Ott, the Executive Director of eGA and eGA’s experts – Raul Rikk and Martin Lään discussed the ongoing cooperation in the fields of e-government and cyber security management. They also touched upon options for the Moldovan government to popularise the use of e-governance solutions already in place. The need for improved awareness raising activities was highlighted, so that the Moldovan society would have more information about the e-services already accessible to them.
