To enlarge the content, we recommend using the built-in functionality of the web browser: hold down the Ctrl key (Cmd key in OS X) and press the + or – key at the same time.
Another convenient option is to use the mouse: hold down the Ctrl key while moving the mouse scroll wheel. You can return to normal size by pressing the Ctrl and 0 keys at the same time.
All major operating systems include settings to increase the content displayed on the screen.
In Windows 7, you can find a program called Magnifier if you click on the “Start” menu button at the bottom left, type Magnifier (the first few letters are enough) and press Enter. A small window will open in which everything is magnified. By default, the program tracks the position of the mouse cursor. In Windows XP, you can find Magnifier by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
On Apple computers, to use zoom, navigate to: Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.
Ann Tsurtsumia-Zurabashvili is an Associated Expert at the e-Governance Academy. With more than 15 years of experience, she specializes in good governance, civic engagement, strategy and institutional development, with a strong focus on capacity building for civic actors, strengthening independent media and democratic institutions.
Prior to joining eGA, Ann spent seven years working on Civil Society Engagement Programs implemented by the East-West Management Institute in Georgia, where she led capacity-building initiatives for new civic actors and CSOs, strengthened communication strategies, facilitated co-creation and tech solutions, and fostered partnerships between the private sector and civil society.
Previously, as a Key Expert on Women’s Political Participation in the EU-funded Gender Equality Project in Georgia (2021-2022), she supported women candidates in developing political campaigning skills. As Secretary of the Parliamentary Gender Equality Council (2017-2018), she facilitated legislative processes on women’s rights and served as the primary liaison between Parliament and external stakeholders. Since 2010 she has collaborated with European Endowment for Democracy, NDI, the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy, and the East European Center for Multiparty Democracy (EECMD), working across Eastern Partnership countries and Central Asia.
Ann was also a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (2014-2017) at Dublin City University, where she expanded her research expertise in post-Soviet area studies.
She holds an MA in Europeanisation of Governance and Politics from Tallinn University, a BA in International Relations from Tbilisi State University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Communications from Sympodium Institute.
