Another convenient option is to use the mouse: hold down the Ctrl key while moving the mouse scroll wheel. You can return to normal size by pressing the Ctrl and 0 keys at the same time.
All major operating systems include settings to increase the content displayed on the screen.
In Windows 7, you can find a program called Magnifier if you click on the “Start” menu button at the bottom left, type Magnifier (the first few letters are enough) and press Enter. A small window will open in which everything is magnified. By default, the program tracks the position of the mouse cursor. In Windows XP, you can find Magnifier by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
On Apple computers, to use zoom, navigate to: Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.
Mari Tomingas-Sibul works as Senior Expert at the e-Governance Academy Cybersecurity Competence Centre. Mari is a seasoned expert in international security, with 30 years of experience spanning NATO and the Estonian government. In her current role, Mari contributes to cyber capacity building and development of cybersecurity frameworks, leveraging her deep understanding of global cyber threats, national security and defence, as well as tech innovation.
Prior to her current position, Mari served as Communications and Engagements Officer at DIANA, NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator, where she facilitated stakeholder engagement and contributed to launching its Regional Hub in Estonia. Her extensive NATO tenure also includes roles such as Policy Adviser in the Emerging Security Challenges Division and Staff Officer in the Political Affairs and Security Policy Division, as well as in Defence Policy and Planning Division, where she coordinated defence reform initiatives with partner nations, such as Ukraine and Georgia. Before her postings in NATO Headquarters, she served as Deputy Head of NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine.
Mari’s national roles extend to various positions in Estonian Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including her role as Counsellor for Cyber Diplomacy, where she contributed to the implementation of Estonia’s cybersecurity policy and led international cyber cooperation projects. Earlier in her career, she advised the Estonian Prime Minister and President on national security and defence matters, and contributed to Estonia’s efforts towards NATO and the EU accession.
Mari holds an MA in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University, complemented by advanced certifications from NATO Defence College and George C. Marshall Centre. Fluent in several languages, including English, Finnish, and Russian. For her distinguished public service, Mari has been awarded multiple honours, including the Order of Merit of the Estonian Ministry of Defence and the Order of the White Star for services rendered to the Estonian state.
