The project supported the Ministry for Development of IT and Communications of Uzbekistan to build the capacity of Uzbekistan civil servants to develop e-government platforms and digital public services and roll them out for the citizens and businesses.
Within the project, eGA provided expert assistance and knowledge transfer between Uzbekistan and Estonia to support Uzbekistan in the Digital Uzbekistan – 2030 strategy implementation and related digitalisation reforms.
The results were the following:
- The knowledge transfer in the format of study visit to Estonia, expert assistance, 2 workshops for 200 civil servants and presentations of eGA experts in ICT week in Uzbekistan took place.
- Government of Uzbekistan and related stakeholders improved competencies and skills for the e-government platforms and digital public services development and rollout.
