e-Citizens Advocacy

Duration April 2009 - April 2010

The general aim of the project which lasted for one year from 2009-2010 was the development of local participatory democracy through the increase of the skills,  competencies and motivation of different parties of the political process to hold an Internet-based dialogue.

The project enabled the organisation of four additional awareness-raising e-participation seminars in addition to the six financed by the NGO Fund, which resulted in more opportunities for people from different regions to participate in the seminars. The project also supported the establishment of a sustainable network of people interested in and ready to support the development of ICT-enabled participatory democracy.
