In Windows 7, you can find a program called Magnifier if you click on the “Start” menu button at the bottom left, type Magnifier (the first few letters are enough) and press Enter. A small window will open in which everything is magnified. By default, the program tracks the position of the mouse cursor. In Windows XP, you can find Magnifier by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
On Apple computers, to use zoom, navigate to: Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.
Enhanced efficiency and accessibility of Moldova’s justice system through digital transformation
As the Republic of Moldova advances towards European Union membership, modernising the justice system has become one of the country’s key reform priorities. Transparent, efficient, and secure public institutions are essential for meeting EU accession requirements and strengthening the rule of law. The project “Enhanced efficiency and accessibility of justice system through digital transformation” supports Moldova’s justice reform and the implementation of the Republic of Moldova’s Growth Plan for 2025–2027 by accelerating the digital transformation of the justice system and strengthening the cybersecurity of critical government digital infrastructure.
By introducing modern digital solutions, improving cybersecurity, and strengthening institutional capacity, the project helps make justice services more accessible, efficient, and transparent for legal professionals and citizens, and deliver more reliable and secure government public services.
Supporting Moldova’s Justice Reform
The project contributes to the implementation of key reform commitments under the Republic of Moldova’s Growth Plan for 2025–2027. In particular, it supports efforts to:
- expand the use of the eFile system across all first-instance courts;
- covering 100% of all cases, with all relevant data accessible in electronic form and with established connectivity to seven information systems
- modernise and fully operationalise the Integrated Case Management System (ICMS), including its interoperability with other government information systems;
- improve the efficiency of court proceedings by reducing case disposition times and increasing the clearance rate for cases.
Strengthening Digital Justice Services
The project supports the digital transformation of the justice system through implementing modern technologies and stronger institutional capacities.
Activities focus on:
- standardising centrally managed videoconferencing systems with remote interpretation functionality in selected courtrooms, making court proceedings more accessible,
- supporting the revision and further development of the Integrated Case Management System (ICMS) to improve case management and judicial efficiency,
- expanding the use of the eFile system to enable more institutions and justice sector professionals to access digital justice services,
- strengthening the digital skills, knowledge, and awareness of justice sector professionals,
- improving digital governance, cybersecurity, and data protection across the justice system.
Strengthening Cybersecurity of Critical Government Infrastructure
The project also helps strengthen the cybersecurity and operational resilience of Moldova’s critical government digital infrastructure.
Activities focus on:
- improving cybersecurity protection of essential public digital services,
- strengthening cyber threat detection and incident response capabilities,
- increasing the operational resilience of critical government systems, and
- enhancing institutional capacity to manage cybersecurity risks effectively.
