Supporting the e-Identity processes in Tunisia

Digital identity is the one of the main enablers of digital society. Within the project eGA experts supported the e-identity processes in Tunisia. The experts advised the Ministry of Communication and the National Agency of Electronic Certification (“Tuntrust”) on making strategic choices related to digital identity that enables secure access to the public services.
The activities included eGA experts visits to Tunisia and Tunisian experts’ visit to Estonia. As the result eGA experts developed a policy note on the development of eID in Tunisia. This note will work as the initial input for further eID development.
