E-participation in local governments
The general aim of the project is the development of participatory democracy at local level through increase of skills and competences to held a dialogue between local municipalities, civil society organizations and citizens. The direct beneficiaries of the project include the representatives of local governments and councils, members of civil society organizations and active citizens.
Our activities to reach this aim are a) mapping of existing best pactices in Estonia and abroad, b) organising seminars in six Estonian regions and c) opening the discussion forum on the webpage of eGA.
The concret outcome of the project is the analysis of existing e-participation practices in Estonian municipalities and the manual with methodology description for developing e-participation practices based on the practices, emerged from debates and contribution of experts.
