Tanzania Digital Readiness Review

The objective of the project is to review the current state of digital transformation in Tanzania with special focus on digital economy. It also aims to provide ideas on how to better support the key areas related to the achievement of strategic digital objectives. The Digital Readiness report is accompanied by a Digital Economy Roadmap, setting out recommendations for concrete actions for the enhancement of digital economy in Tanzania.

The project is jointly carried out with ITL (Aktors)

The project is part of the African Union-European Union (AU-EU) Digital for Development (D4D) Initiative. The general objective of the Initiative is to contribute to closing the digital divide and leveraging digital innovations for inclusive sustainable development in Africa. The specific objective is to strengthen African national and regional partners’ capability to identify and implement priority actions in response to digitalisation challenges.
