In Windows 7, you can find a program called Magnifier if you click on the “Start” menu button at the bottom left, type Magnifier (the first few letters are enough) and press Enter. A small window will open in which everything is magnified. By default, the program tracks the position of the mouse cursor. In Windows XP, you can find Magnifier by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
On Apple computers, to use zoom, navigate to: Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.
ICT in Education in Palestine
The project “Support to the development of ICT in education of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Palestinian Authority based on Estonian experiences” enhanced the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in education management and teaching process that was requested by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Palestinian Authority. The core of the project relied on assistance and consultancy in developing ICT in education strategy and action plan for Palestinian Authority.
As a result of the project, the capacity of Ministry of Education and Higher Education personnel to plan, manage, and implement national ICT in education programs and initiatives has increased. Also, the knowledge of using ICTs in education administration and in teaching and learning process has increased as well as the readiness to use internet and ICT instruments in education.
The established contacts, local expert team, and the training carried out is Estonia forms a solid ground for the further development of ICT in education (including the preparation of the strategy and action plan) in the Palestinian Authority, thus, guaranteeing systemic modernization of education in the Palestinian Authority.
