The study provided support to Kenyan government to accelerate the implementation of their digital transformation plans and supported the implementation of priority actions to respond to digitalisation challenges.
The study focused on essential pillars of digital readiness that enact as enablers for sustainable digital development and helped determine the current state of digital readiness to be able to set realistic goals and plan next actions for digital development.
The study report contained an overview of the current baseline as well as long-term and short-term recommendations in each focus area.
The study is the basis for developing a roadmap for implementation, defining necessary capacity-building activities and implementation of a pilot project in the justice sector. All to be undertaken in the next phase of the project.
