Kosovo e-government implementation

Duration September 2023 - August 2028

The project aims to support the Kosovo government’s commitment to transform its public sector into a modern, digitally savvy, efficient, and citizen‐centric administration. The draft e‐Government Strategy, officially launched in April 2023, with support from eGA experts, is a key component for the process.

e-Governance Academy focuses on three topics in this project – interoperability, capacity building and service management. The following activities are foreseen:

  • Service management
    – Providing guidance for ICT outsourcing practices in the public sector
    – Assisting in compiling a service design framework
    – Putting together a service owner handbook
  • Capacity building
    – Facilitating the development of an ICT capacity-building framework
    – Compiling a professional skill training plan in the public sector
    – Offering several ToT (Train-the-trainers) courses
  • Interoperability
    – Updating the interoperability framework
    – Offering assistance in enhancing practical interoperability
