In Windows 7, you can find a program called Magnifier if you click on the “Start” menu button at the bottom left, type Magnifier (the first few letters are enough) and press Enter. A small window will open in which everything is magnified. By default, the program tracks the position of the mouse cursor. In Windows XP, you can find Magnifier by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
On Apple computers, to use zoom, navigate to: Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.
Developing digital learning programmes
Digital learning is a powerful way to build public sector capacity quickly and efficiently. Flexible, online training enables public officials and stakeholders to learn anytime, anywhere, supporting continuous professional development while reducing time and resource constraints.
Well-designed digital learning programmes accelerate upskilling, ensure consistent knowledge transfer, and strengthen long-term institutional capacity. They play a key role in supporting digital transformation by equipping organisations with the skills needed to adopt new technologies, improve services, and adapt to change.
At the e-Governance Academy (eGA), we design and deliver practical, high-impact digital learning programmes tailored to the needs of governments and organisations. With expertise in digital governance, public services, and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), we help partners build skills, foster innovation, and stay resilient in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
What we provide
eGA supports governments and organisations in developing effective digital learning by providing:
- Designing custom digital learning courses: Courses specifically designed to meet the unique needs of your organisation and aligned with your strategic goals and capacity-building needs
- Providing ready-made digital courses: Access to pre-designed, high-quality courses that can be quickly deployed across institutions
- Creating instructional materials and learning toolkits for third-party platforms: Clear, user-friendly instructional handbooks and interactive learning materials developed for external platforms and public webpages. These resources are primarily designed for citizens and end users, supporting practical digital skills development – such as the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, digital content creation (e.g. podcasts), and effective use of digital public services
- Consulting and training for digital learning development: Hands-on guidance for organisations seeking to build or strengthen internal e-learning capacity, including instructional design, programme development, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance learning content and processes.
