In Windows 7, you can find a program called Magnifier if you click on the “Start” menu button at the bottom left, type Magnifier (the first few letters are enough) and press Enter. A small window will open in which everything is magnified. By default, the program tracks the position of the mouse cursor. In Windows XP, you can find Magnifier by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
On Apple computers, to use zoom, navigate to: Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.
Digitalising public services
Digital public services enable governments to deliver essential services through secure, user-friendly digital channels, allowing citizens and businesses to fulfil legal obligations, access rights, and benefit from public services more efficiently. Well-designed digital services reduce administrative burden, increase transparency, and create measurable economic and social value.
By putting users at the centre, digital public services improve accessibility and inclusion while strengthening trust in government. They also help build a more agile, data-driven public sector that can respond to evolving needs, foster innovation, and support sustainable economic growth.
At the e-Governance Academy (eGA), we combine decades of practical and strategic experience, rooted in Estonia’s globally recognised leadership in digital government. We support public institutions throughout the full lifecycle of digital service development from prioritisation and design to implementation and continuous improvement.
What we provide
eGA’s support for the development and re-engineering of public digital services includes the following:
- Analysing and prioritising public services: Mapping the current service landscape, assessing user value, and identifying high-impact services for digitalisation aligned with national priorities
- Designing citizen-centric digital services: Co-creating services with stakeholders using proven service design methods, ensuring accessibility, usability, and real user value, while exploring AI-supported approaches where relevant
- Validating concepts and planning implementation: Testing service concepts with users, defining business and technical requirements, identifying opportunities for AI integration, and developing actionable implementation roadmaps
- Supporting implementation and service rollout: Assisting with piloting, integration, and scaling of digital services across institutions
- Establishing monitoring and continuous improvement: Setting up performance tracking and feedback mechanisms to ensure long-term service quality, efficiency, and adaptability
