On this website, it is possible to change the contrast of the content to make reading easier.
To enlarge the content, we recommend using the built-in functionality of the web browser: hold down the Ctrl key (Cmd key in OS X) and press the + or – key at the same time.
Another convenient option is to use the mouse: hold down the Ctrl key while moving the mouse scroll wheel. You can return to normal size by pressing the Ctrl and 0 keys at the same time.
All major operating systems include settings to increase the content displayed on the screen.
In Windows 7, you can find a program called Magnifier if you click on the “Start” menu button at the bottom left, type Magnifier (the first few letters are enough) and press Enter. A small window will open in which everything is magnified. By default, the program tracks the position of the mouse cursor. In Windows XP, you can find Magnifier by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibility > Magnifier.
On Apple computers, to use zoom, navigate to: Apple menu > System Preferences > Accessibility (or Universal Access) > Zoom.
Kristina Mänd is a Senior Expert at the e-Governance Academy. She supports leaders and institutions in designing inclusive digital transformation processes through meaningful stakeholder engagement and democratic participation. Her passion lies in strengthening civil society, public institutions, and organisations to thrive and remain accountable in the digital age.
Kristina leads multi-stakeholder projects that meet objectives and deliver results, advises on digital democracy and engagement, and has curated the e-Governance Conference programme since 2024. Her past work includes developing a digital transformation roadmap for Kosovo, civic engagement in Estonia, and reducing digital vulnerability in Georgia and Ukraine.
With over 30 years of international experience, Kristina bridges the public sector and civil society to co-create participatory processes that improve people’s lives and strengthen trust in public institutions. Kristina has worked across sectors and continents, including with CIVICUS in South Africa, LIFEbeat in New York, the Network of Estonian Non-profit Organisations, NGO Mondo, and Praxis in Estonia. Known for combining analytical thinking with creativity, she is equally comfortable with roadmaps and budgets as with event design and storytelling.
She is a skilled facilitator, moderator, and speaker, engaging diverse audiences with clarity and a sense of humour. She has trained and advised hundreds of civil society leaders, public officials, and organisations on strategy, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy.
Kristina has authored books and articles on civil society, democratic governance, organisational development and marketing, and her portfolio includes travel writing. She holds an MSc in Management and Marketing from New York University and an MA in English from the University of Tartu.
Kristina is fluent in Estonian and English, and conversational in Spanish, Russian, and Finnish.
